Alex MacPherson has always been an artist, but initially with pencils, paint & paper. It wasn’t until February of 2019 that she first picked up her tweezers and completed her first eyelash extension certification course. While honing her craft & taking as many lash courses as she possibly could, Alex was simultaneously working on her Bachelor of Education degree (with distinction) at the University of Regina, in order to aid her in her lash extension pedagogical practice. Upon completion of her degree in 2021, Alex was appointed the Global Education Director for the Canadian lash brand, Lashiivo . She then made the decision to use her degree to aid her in educating the new generation of lash artists & to further advance education in the lash industry. With a passion for both lash artistry and teaching, Alex hopes to use this blog as an additional platform to spread her knowledge of both, and to connect with other lash professionals around the world by sharing her experiences with her tweezers & beyond!
